Review, runes and strategy

Fire Samurai (Jun) is a good speed based attacker with a set of four skills in Summoners War and was featured in the March 2017 Hall Of Heroes. Like any other Samurai he is fairly versatile but in a pretty specific niche, the fire one offers a suite of useful debuffs like Attack break, Defense break and Continuous Damage while having a good base Attack.

Fire Samurai in Arena Offense

His main use can be found in PvP Offense where he works as a AoE nuker due to the high multipliers, the 15% critical rate bonus on awakening and the double AoE skills. In the meanwhile he can provide a shield by himself, useful for second turn's purposes but we suggest to not rely on second turns and for the same reason to ignore all the power ups of this unit (do not feed him with devilmons in particular), because he needs too many of them, you don't want to use him for debuffs, they're only a useful gift and last but not least cooldowns are pretty irrelevant if you want to build a cleaver team for arena.

To get the most for AO team him up with a Critical Rate booster capable leader like Rica the Fire Occult Girl, a AoE defense breaker like Water Pirate Captain (Galleon) and an atk bar booster like Orion (Water Brownie Magician) or Bernard (Wind Griffon).

Fire Samurai in TOA

He can be useful in TOA normal but only if you are a new player as a pure damage dealer and debuffer support to help your team survive, especially if you don't go farther than the 50th floor. Once you reach mid-end game you will probably found a more suitable unit as a replacement so if you're planning to build him for toa don't go for 6 star but stay at level 35 with good runes and wait for your luck to come.
