Fire Zaiross (Zaiross)

Review, runes and strategy

Zaiross (Fire Dragon) is one of the best attack monster in Summoners War.

He is good pretty much everywhere. With two AoE skills he can also be runed with Despair runes.

Zaiross is very good in arena offense. In higher ranks he is often teamed with Galleon and Tiana and a speed leader like Seara). This Team works like that: Tiana with high speed (hence a bonus from leaderskill is very good) cleanse your team and debuffs entire enemy team plus increases your attack bar, then Galleon def breaks and buff your attack and finally Zaiross uses third skill to wipe out most, if not all, enemy team.

His third skill is very good since it puts all enemy's skills on max cooldown. In ToA you can use this at your advantage versus some difficult boss with nasty second or third skills.

Also good for ToA, but not only there, is second skill, an AoE multiple hit damage with chance of dealing Continous Damage on each hit.

To maximize this effect is better to rune him with attack runes like Fatal or (better) Rage set.

this is the first nat 5 I've pulled (from rewards for making my first 6 star) I do not at this time have him 6 starred, awakened, or skilled up. For the low position I'm at in the game, I find him to be useful in any situation with a healer being able to put their heals on cooldown before they happen. He seems to pair best with a speed buffer, and can do even better with another DoT dealer

Wish i had one too :') also once you pull a galleon you will be able to rank pretty fast in arena, then you will only need a good stripper to reach C2 / C3 easy. How did you rune your zaiross?

@bestsummoner I won't say how I runed mine as it's not my focus right now, I haven't played around with him as much as I'd like but he is a future project once I finish my early game progression

You can rune him in different ways, depending on which content you want to focus on. Rage/blade or rage/will %atk %crit dmg % atk is the preferrable build in pvp offense with a stripper, an attack bar buffer and Galleon. You can build him also for Toa on a Deaspair Focus build. Or you can also go for a Violent build for multi purpose content focus.

I just got 2 NB5s within a month. One is Theomars and the other is Zaiross. Still confused on who to prioritize. Who do you recommend to 6* first?

Gratz on your summons. I would say that it depends on your runes, I´d priorize Zaiross first as he´s an AoE top nuker and has great utility in PvE and PvP. But if you cant properly rune Zaiross, go Theo first and farm stuff for the Dragon meanwhile.

One of the best monsters in this game.

Zaiross is a very versatile monster that can used almost anywhere.

Skill wise:

Leader skill is one of the best giving you an attack buff.

With 2 AOE , 3rd skill is the most epic high damage AOE with a enemy skill cooldown debuff.

Easy to rune. You can use any setup just make sure you have 246 as SPD - CRT DMG-ATK. Speed is necessary since he is a lil slow. You really dont need to equip high crit rate subs since once he is awaken he will give you a 15% increase in crit rate which is crazy.

This is my first Nat 5 mob.

Hello I have one sixstar right now - Zaiross but I'm almost ready for another one, and I don't know who I should sixstar next. I got Triton five days ago who really still needs some timework, I have Verde, Baretta, Tyron, Kamiya, Wind Sylphide, Mantura and would like to know who of those seven Monsters I should sixstar next.
