Review, runes and strategy

Elsharion the Light Ifrit is a great nat-5 star monster in Summoners War. You can summon him in the brand new Ancient Magic shop, buying pieces of him for Ancient Coins (obtainable from Events) he is infact obtainable by every player through this shop using 500 Coins..

Just like other Ifrits, the Light one has Mega Smash as first skill, that deals damage proportionate to his own attack speed and inflicts continuous damage for two turns at 75% chance on max skillup: take into account that Elsharion is a light element monster, so his attacks won’t glance, hence with his first skill he can be good for the purpose of put the enemy under continuous damage.

Light Ifrit’s second skill is just like Theomar's (Water Ifrit): it’s a three hit on single target that also defense breaks with 70% chance per hit on max skill-up but the real game changing feature of this unit is his Third skill a robin hood-like skill that steals beneficial effects from a target enemy and applies it to all the allies on every attack, this capability render him a great counter to Khmun, Woosa, Chloe etc.. basically he is a good counter to all the defenses that use a Immunizer or a shielder (with the expeption for siege natural 4 towers where he can't fight),

With this skillset and being a Light monster, Elsharion is very good to use in PvP offense, especially against buff-based defenses.

Not shit monster and not op, ld Samurai better if u have low/med runes(u need +140 speed from runes/buffs/buildings to have same scale on 3 skill). Julie better in any cases as aoe nuker. Well need 2 see his stats, but other ifrits have 750-830 atk dmg which not rly good.

Even Wind Ifrit (Akhamamir) have 572% scale into 1 armor break. So Elsharion must ahve like+150 spd for same dmg. Feel like come2us just troll us.

I disagree about Julie and Akhamamir. Think that S3 is AoE damage+DefBreak in every attack, so if you get the def break on the first attack, the following ones will hit for much more damage, and remember that as he´s a light monster, cant glance on any element. Besides, if you rune him Swift, it won´t be difficult to get a +150 SPD with good runes, that meaning the SPD for the formula will be 114+150 (runes)+15 (totem)+100 (skill) = 379/2.5= 151% x4 attacks. Seems pretty good if 2-3 of the attacks can deal damage with the defense broken.
Akhamamir is very situational to use, and in my humble opinion there´s no way to compare Elsharion with Julie. This one is way better.

He havnt def break on 3 skill, he can only  weakens the Attack. If only he had it on s3.....

Com2Us has already said that they are completely revamping Elsharion to make him a monster worth the wait, so I highly doubt they are going with a skill set from 2 or 3 years ago.

That's truth. Just we must to wait. Don't make u wrongs ideas before he arrived to us..

Light Ifrit finally unveiled, I think his ratings should be reset here since his abilities aren't the same we thought he would have (he has 126 votes already). With this new passive skill people with Chloe and many other buffers based team defenses will have to think it twice, while I don't think this will make them useless, it will change the way we can play around them. No glancing hits to prevent him from landig his passive is an extremely good addition, the only thing that I'm not sure is that if his passive activate with every hit or just after his turn (I think it will be right after his turn like Tesarion), otherwise his second skill would be able to steal three buffs and that would be too much from my point of view. Violent/Will SPD/CRT/ATTK with crt rate, speed and accuracy sounds like the best option for him. I'll have to try it as soon as I get the last pieces in a month or so.

I´ve been hours thinking in: Feng Yan uses his S2, then you attack with Elsharion and steal the Counterstrike effect applying it to all your team... I think on it, then laugh then think on it again. It´s just insane XD
Also a perfect counter to annoying tanks like Rina, Khmun and Amelia.
Definitely wil change the way we face PvP battles, specially in Real Time Arena.

I'm agree with Kain, he is kinda a troller xD I have used him in arena vs mons like rakan, woosa, any mon that have buff lols

But, IMO , he is not an atk mon. Its better to steal buffs from the enemy anytime you can than hit hard and die really easy. Kinda support mon. A build like Vio spd/hp/hp with spd and acc subs can work pretty well. In my opinion, of course

My only complaint, is that he is a bit squishy. Other than that, he is an amazing monster. I went with the Swift/Will and I do think some future work will provide an epic experience with him.

i am about to get Elsharion soon, was wondering is it worth to 6 star him or wait until i am able to summon Theo?

More specifically, who is better at Rift beast?

Mafrank83 Profile Image

Theo is your damage dealer...pure and simple. Elsharion is more of a support monster with the strip and buff whole team. Different purposes for each
