Welcome to Wedjat´s review. First of all, this is a GOOD monster, and its an all purpose one. His skill set might look too simple for a nat5, but when properly runed it´s one of the most annoying defenders in the game. Wedjat can be used mainly in PvP, but also is a great support in some hard ToAH levels and can perfectly be a wall in raid frontline, although he has no debuff or nuke capabilities, his base DEF is amazing and can be easily increased. The runes for Wedjat must be VIOLENT ones, and you can combine them with any other 2-set specially Will or Nemesis. Rune him with SPD/%HP/%DEF. Wedjat´s 2nd skill is the perfect anti-nuke skill as increases DEF and give critical hit inmunity. Enemy Theomars will slightly hurt you when this skill is cast upon all your units, and its a 3-turn cooldown skill with 2-turn protection, meaning that if you get a single proc every 3 turns you will have perma-defense on all your units. Think on it, cause its a real gift. Besides, this skill also helps the DEF based nukers like Bulldozer or Copper. The first skill is an ATB decreaser with some damage. This can be quite usefull when you get some procs specially in GW as you can easily get down the attack bar of an enemy nuker or healer and will also help and Atk buff one of your units. So mix an attack bar debuffer with a perma-defense buff and critical shield and you´ll have one sort of anti-Theomars defender, and when paired with a strong Defense leader, Wedjat will shine almost everywhere.

And regarding Wedjat, hes not a game changer, but he have helped ma a lot in ToAH and Guid wars and I´m going to team him with Orion and a Silver that I´m building for a high Defense GW and Arena team. I´ll tel you about in Silver´s review as soon as I wirte it ;)

New update has slightly improved 2nd sill buff and given a very nice leaderskill change. 24%SPD buff in Arena is great for Wedjat! I´ve also tried a nuking team based on Silver (Light living armor), and it goes like this: Xiong Fei (DEF leader), Orion (DEF break+ATB buff), Wedjat (DEF buff+ Anti-crit) and Silver (DEF based nuker). The results are AMAZING, and my only problem is Silver´s speed. In GW, I take Xiong Fei out and use Orion as DEF leader, and results are even better than in Arena! Check Silver´s review if you want more info about this unit.

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER BALANCE PATCH SEPT. 2018

Well, Wedjat is NOT anymore a storage keeper. The last balace patch have given this monster a great PvP and PvE utility with the passive AoE Attack Bar Boost. Now Wedjat is a kind of Verdehile with great sustain and he does´nt need to crit for the ATB boost. Besides, second skill is an AoE life insurance. Some people compare the passive with Radgoll´s one, but I think the Dragon Knight is much more OP than Wedjat, so I prefer to use Verdehile as a blank for testing purposes.

Things go like this: Use Wedjat as an Arena Leader, place him with a support healer like Chasun, Chloe, Woosa, Colleen, etc. Any unit that can heal and place 1-2 AoE buffs in your units. This monster must be faster than Wedjat, and the nukers too if possible. In my strategy I use Orion for first ATB boost, then Woosa, then Theomars and then Wedjat. Using S2, Wedjat can cast a very effective defensive buff system and he will take profit of the other buffs to boost all ypur units ATB another 20%. This is really helpful to outspeed enemies turn after turn, and if wedjat procs... well, we all know what happens when a Violent Verdehile procs, don´t we?

I perfectly realize Wedjat is not Zeratu or Artamiel, even Woosa is more desired than him, but believe me, NOT a storage keeper ANYMORE. Now wedjat can really change the sign of a battle by letting your units outspeed the enemy and protecting them.

Also, in RTA this monster improves a lot. People don´t know about him, so he will be never banned. Then the enemy usually realizes too late that Wedjat has a 24% speed leader skill and that he can cast a real effective protection on your team, preventing oneshot kills and high damage hits.

In PvE, I mostly use in Labyrinth. Cooldown and Speed limit stages are perfect for him. Again, he can boost your team and keep it alive, specially in hell mode when things can turn dangerous very easily.

Just for the record: This unit has became a RTA beast.
I´ve recently changed all his setup, forgetting the Violent runes to use a Swift/Will set. Now hes both SPD leader and SPD booster with 273 speed + 24leader bonus. So in only 1 monster I have a 297 speed ATB booster.
This change from Violent to Swift is only for RTA purposes but it also works fine in regular Arena, and now Wedjat is in my AD instead of Orion.
So just be aware of this unit in arena/RTA because I swear he can give you a hard time fighting him.
