Theomars, the Water Ifrit, is one of the best nukers in Summoners War: despite of being a water monster he can deal significant damage even to wind monsters thanks to his passive skill that always grants him elemental advantage when attacking.
That also means that he is unpredictable when facing it in Arena, always having elemental advantage, he will attack without following elemental weakness patterns.
Theomars' first skill is a one hit single target skill that also lands a continous damage effect on the target for two turns. This skill deals damage based on Theomars'speed, and for this reason you should build your Theomars with high speed.
His second skill is a three hit on single target with each hit having a 75% chance to defense break the target on max skill up.
His third skill is a passive one that makes him have always elemental advantage against the enemy when he's attacking: this implies that both first and second skill will not glance, hence there is a full probability that continous damage from first skill and defense break from second skill will land.
Usually used in PVP, he can find place in PVE teams when users laks of better nuker (generally AoE nukers like Zaiross or some Chimeras) because his first skill puts DOT and that's good against bosses such as Dragon B10 or Giant B10.
Theomars is a must have for every player, you can summon him with 100 Ifrit Summoning Pieces that you can buy from the Guild Shop: 10 Ifrit Summoning Pieces costs 450 Guild Points and remeber, you can buy 10 pieces at maximum twice a week.

I would like to drop here some thoughts about how to use Thromars in GW, as I think he´s a top monster for this purpose, both in offense and defense tasks.
The general strategy is to nuke things with Theo while you boost and protect him with another two units, and you can do it with easy to farm monsters if you don´t have any other of the recomended.
One of the monsters needed is a speed leader, and I really recomend KHMUN for this role. Khmun is not only a great speed leader, but his great shield will really help Theomars to survive. Besides, Khmun can also deal some good damage with his S2 so he can help Theo to finish damaged enemies.
The other monster is a healer. Here you can use a Beast Monk like RITESH if youre lucky enough to have one, or even ARIEL can bean awesome option. However the most common partner of Theo is CHASUN, as she can both buff the atack and recover health through Heal Block debuff. After a lot of testing, I´ve found another very good (and extremely easy to obtain) companion for Theomars: RACUNI, the fire Harg. He´s not a top healer but can clean debuffs on theo, heal him and give extra turns. Very good option and specially annoying in defense. And just to finish, the best choice for me is ELADRIEL. Its is true that Eladriel can only heal, he can´t clean debuffs break defense or boost the attack, but in GW is very easy to lose one monster due to concentrated enemy attacks, and the chance to revive Theomars or even Khmun if he falls is really decisive in the battle. So be warned thar the Khmun+Theomars+Eladriel GWD is really hard to defeat.
So if you like this idea, remeber that you can aim for Khmun is the summoning stones rotations and that Racuni is an easy to get nat3. Once you have Theomars it won´t be difficult to get the other two monsters with some patience. With Khmun+Theomars+Racuni is quite enough to test this GW setup both in attack and defense. Then if you get or already have monsters like Chasun, you can always use them too.
Also if any of you have specific GWD strategies for Theomars you can drop them here and help the other players to know them.
I don't really know what to do
For me the use of Devilmons on Theomars is 100% worth it. Theo is a top nuker, and a must have in my humble oppinion, so full developing him is a must too.
Right now I don´t regret any of the devilmons I invested in him
OP!! now he is suitable in GW offense and defense even for siege. A good GWO and GWD team i found is Theomars, Chasun, Iris where chasun goes before Theo so she can spread atk buff, iris is a fantastic stabilizer for this team and she brings strip, heal, and some CC capabilities especially because she is runed despair / revenge.
and what's the rune build? Violent/
sorry can't go for a screenshot right (it's not so fast to post screenshot here, they should consider upgrading this form ;) btw my theomars after FRR is
+11852 HP,
+1044 atk,
+314 DEF
+72 spd
73% CR
141% CD
49%RES
0% Acc
def break goes despite the 0 acc i think due to the elemental advantage. after this rerun (violent / revenge - hp% CD ATK%) he is more viable in any content, i use him in Necro B10 (theo leader, fuco, colleen wind homu, ethna - 1:20 run about 95% win rate), fire raid beast, Arena Offense, guild war defense (yes runed HP he tricks many :) GWO also and siege.
Happy having him less squishy I'll never revert to the spd rune :)
Nice stats, however I really think you can improve the HP if you use grindstones or get runes with better substats.
I´ve tried many builds with Theomars and the only one I like is Violent/Will, as is the only that let you face Seara teams with guarantees. I have my tactics to approach the Seara+Orion+Nuker GW defenses, but it would be impossible to do it without a will Theomars.
Concening stats, I´ll screenshot mine. I know hes a little slow, but hits like a truck :)
Vio/Will Badass nuker
Testing the new images function...
gg man awesome theomars he should do some awesome damage
Hi Folks,
Is it ok to fill in Chasun's spot with Emma? i've been playing for more less than 3 months now and have Emma, Khmun, Vero, Baretta, Sigmarus and Theo. They are my main monsters as of now.
Not the best place to ask for Chasun or Emma, I guess. This is feedback about THEOMARS.
Hello again. I want to present you a new concept monster, that I've called "Theorminator" XD
The "Theorminator" philosophy consists in getting 200+ SPD with a %ATK rune in position#2, getting a badass nuker that can blast almost anything. If you can get it, you will enjoy an awesome nuker. Work on it!
Have a noob question for you guys: if you had summoned a second Theomars (yes, it was today my 5th Ifrit summon, and pulled Theo at last, then got another from the Ifrit summoning scoll from the mission after you pull the 5th Ifrit, so I have 2 unskilled 5* Theo at the moment), would you feed him to one of his brothers (for me, wether Theo, Elsharion or Akhamamir; my Tesarion & Vero are fully skilled now) or would you consider... building a second Theo? Could it make sense for you guys? Would you be kind enough to explain your line of reasoning? Many thanks!
First of all: There are no "noob" questions. All questions are interesting and all are done by a reason.
I consider building a second Theo, indeed, I´ve done it, BUT it´s quite an end game task. Theomars only work fine when full skilled, and he needs a good Violent/Will set to avoid being CCed in the first turn. So i´ll focus first in having a "top" first Theomars and then slowly start building the second one.
In my case, I´m still summoning ifrits in order to max skill Tesarion and once I finish him I´ll keep on summoning more ifrits to skill my second Theomars.
So the answer I´ll give to you is: Build a second but only after the first one is full runed and skilled.
The best point of having 2 Theomars (in my opinion) is to build 2xKhmun + Theo + Healer teams for attack and defense in GvG battles.
Thx my friend! Thx also for all your other comments, I've been reading them for about a year now and they have always been stimulating and food for thought.
It´s a pleasure knowing my feedback can help you out. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it :)
Ive found, through a lot of my own mistakes starting out, is that you dont want to have too many projects. Finish one project and make them the best you can before you move on to another.
