Review, runes and strategy

Tyron (Water Sylph) is a great crowd control attack monster in Summoners War.

Tyron has two AoE skills: the second skill is a 2 hit to all enemies inflicting relatively small amount of damage (small multipliers on this one) but each attack has 50% chance to put glancing hit effect on targets on max skill up. The third skill is a AoE freeze with 100% chance with 5 turn cooldown with skill at max level.

Having two multi target skill Tyron is very good when runed with Despair set and Focus set runes to increase chance to stun the enemies.

Moreover Tyron has a great leaderskill, increasing attack speed of all allies everywhere by 19%.

All this set of ability and build make tyron a perfect monster to use in ToA (also valuable as leader) and PvP both defense and attack, especially in speed teams with a speed and attack bar buffer like Bernard-Wind Griffon, a AoE defense breaker and buffer like Galleon-Water Pirate Captain and a AoE nuker like Akhamamir-Wind Ifrit.

Tyron is good also for farming in Faimon Volcano scenario, but you may want a slightly different build to make it possible, he will need a boost of his damage output by using %attack runes on slots 4 and/or 6.

Suggested runes

Crowd control build: Despair/Focus - SPD /%HP / %HP or SPD /%HP / %ACC

Farming/Damage dealer build: Rage/Blade or Despair/Blade - SPD /%Crit dmg / %ATT with good accuracy substats

One of the best Crowd Control units you can get in early/mid game. Tyron is a great leader and runed Despair with SPD, HP and some Accuracy is an awesome freezer and stunner. The two AoE skills can stun with Despair and S3 has also a 100% AoE freeze, modified only by Accuracy and Resistance. The first skill has also a 30% chance of consecutive attacks, and can deal huge amounts of damage to fire units if it procs some times.

Tyron is also very useful in the ToA/ToAH due to both the Leader Skill and the CC habilities, if you plan to build him for ToAH, forget about damage and use all the HP you can with a cap of 45% Accuracy.

In late game, Tyron may leave your favourite PvP teams but can still be used with great sucess in farming Faimon, Secret Dungeons or in the Fire beast, where is a very valuable monster.

@Therenas use him as leader and rune him DESPAIR if you can farm good runes. He will help you to advance both PvE and PvP. If you cant farm Despair runes just use Swift meanwhile.

tyrone is a useful mon for his Hailstorm, S3. He CCs and gives other teamates oppertunity to nuke while immoble.

This page must be updated in 2019: Tyron (Lannister) has fallen (Toafell), then risen from the dead (great CC again for Tyron Snow) after the Winter has come (ooops sorry, I couldn't resist this). May his blizzards be with you (Hailstorm first to freeze and slow, then apply Cyclone to apply glancing hit and 50% ATB reduction twice, to make the enemy still) and benefit again from the ex-GoT of ToA.

IMO he is again a nice CC unit (Depair + Focus) useful for ToA and Siege (Nat 4* towers).
