Chasun (Wind Sky Dancer) is a top tier healer in Summoners War.
Her third skill can heal even if she and/or the target ally have heal block weakening effect.
She has to be as fast as possible to heal allies in the minimum amount of time and with great amont of HP since her second skill is based on her max HP. Also she's good to have 100% resistance to avoid her to get stunned or easy unavailable.
Chasun's second and third skill's cooltime are low but we invite all to invest devilmons with her because it could be really game changing in Arena battles, Raid Battles - Rift of Worlds, ToA and Dragon B10.
Chasun is good to use in mid-game in Giant B10 because she can be the only support and heal focused member of your team, moreover she will also increase your team's attack power with her second skill, so your AoE nuker like Lushen will deal a lot more damage.
Sometimes she is also used in some Dragon B10 teams as the only wind element monster, so all the fire attribute monsters of this dungeon will be focusing her, and if you build her with Nemesis runes she will gain turns much faster and heal more your team.
She is also a good pick for some bosses of ToA both normal and hard difficulty, but she is often picked for auto mode on this game mode: with two heal skills even a dumb AI can be helpful!
Sometimes Chasun is also built as a frontliner in Raid R5 with a lot of defense alongside a great amount of HP: in order to do so and be effective, many people use a rune on slot 4 or 6 with defense% as main stat.
The Wind Sky Dancer is very good to use in pvp since mid to late game: she is a threat in Arena defense, thanks to her third skill that can change radically the battle. She is very effective on Violent Nemesis build and a good amount of speed, %HP, %Defense and resistance.
Resistance, speed and HP are crucial for a good Chasun build because you want her to be tanky, hard to be defense broken and fast enough to heal your team.
She is also good in Guild War and Siege Battles defense teams, for the same reason as before: a good team to use with her is Orion, Theomars and Chasun (remember that Chasun also increase attack power and Orion defense breaks, so Theomars can do a lot of damage)
Chasun is a fearsome opponent, so you need to carefully plan a way to take her down; there are some good ways to deal with her, but the more effective are to increase her cooldown or stun her+decrease her attack bar.
You can also try to nuke her but it can be quite difficult, since many players build her with 100% resistance, hence your defense breaker(s) can easily fail on her.
You can also bring some ignore defense damage dealer like Lushen, but you have to be sure to take herdown with this nuker's attack because if you don't succeed, she will proc with Nemesis runes and gain her turn and maybe heal herself.
Deal some damage on her and bring Chasun to 60-70% of her max HP, then use nuke skills on her to be effective: in this way you can oneshot her with Mo Long.

Chasun is a top healer, maybe the best healer in game as she´s the only unit along with Harmonia that can heal through the Heal block debuff. Shés a key piece in many AD, GWD and can be used PvE almost everywhere but in Necro.
I´ve used Chasun a lot, I still use her, and I´ve faced a huge amount of Chasun based defenses, and in my humble opinion, Chasun MUST be ALWAYS runed Violent ans as fast as possible, al least with a minimum of 200 speed. A slow Chasun is a dead one, as the enemy will always focus on her to avoid her healing skills spoil the battle. So, the fastest Chasun is, the more chances to survive she will have. And not only she, but all her allies.
So, my suggested rune build is Violent/whatever SPD/HP/HP. But (yes, there´s a but) if you have godly runes with high SPD substats, you can do full HP or DEF/HP/HP. One of my guildies have this last build with 186 SPD, 34K HP and nearly 1600 DEF. You can imagine how annoying can be a Chasun with those stats XD. He uses her to taunt Fire/wind nukers while other attacking units remain unharmed.
Chasun is specially good paired with Theomars, as the Ifrit wont die when he heaches 0 health, thus giving Chasun the chance to full heal him again, wich is annoying AF. Indeed, one of the most common GW defenses right now in Conquerer and Guardian rank (I may say the most common and repeated GWD) is Khmun, Chasun and Theomars.
The Sky Dancer can be used in Arena and GW, both offense and defense, in GB10 and even in DB10 (I´ve used mine in DB10 with great success till I got Woosa), she is nearly a must in the water and wind rift beasts, can perfectly fix in any Raid team as main healer and can also be capital in ToA/ToAH teams. And the best of all is that she can perform all tasks with the same rune build, wich is really uncommon.
Chasun is, to say it in a few words, a nat4 monster that´s more importnt and determinant than many nat5s of the game. She´s by far among the best five nat4s of the whole game and can be compared with very few units in overall utility.
Thank RNGesus if you´re gifted with one ;)
Also, you contradict yourself saying Chasun needs at least 200 spd and then commend your guild member on a Chasun with only 184 spd.
Food for thought.
@agsparks Only Chasun and Harmonia can recover health THROUGH a heal block debuff. As you have said, other healers have to remove the block, but both Chasun and Harmonia can do it meanwhile the block is affecting an ally. That´s what I intended to explain.
Concerning speed, and any other things, I must state that I´m not GOD, I´m just a simple human, so when I write I just drop what I think, and it is only my humble oppinion, not a LAW.
So I think that 200 SPD is nearly a must for a top Chasun ready to fight with guarantees in Conquerer lever Arena or Guardian level GW, but if I can get 1000 extra DEFENSE points in exchange for 16 SPEED points, I will do it without any doubt. Maybe that Chasun has not the "perfect" speed I´m thinking in, but she has more than 3 times the average defense and the speed is still high enough to be competitive. And if you check carefully the stats I´ve written, you will realice that the Chasun I´m speaking of is far better than the ones in the in-game top comments.
Maybe I´ve not explained myself when talking about the SPEED Chasun may have, my real intention is to explain that unless you have runes with very good SPD substats you must use SPD in the rune 2, because if you plan to build a tanky chasun with a low speed she will be like a sitting duck for any enemy nuker.
And again, what I write is only what I think, it´s not a law you have to follow, just a comment I like to share based in my experience.
Regards.
plz help me if possible
the second rune set can be Will, Nemesis, Guard, Endure or Energy.
et her as fast and hard to kill as you can and that's all.
She first got me mad everytime I had to face her in GvG or Arena, now that I have her ... hehehe
well no it's still the same ! I love when she saves one of my monster and I hate when she healup a 1HP Theomars !
She and I have a weird love/hate relationship :P
Jokes out, as Kain said, try to get as much speed as possible but I would point the fact that, in my opinion, a Chasun with/or close to 100% Resistance is so much more annoying than a Chasun with 1400 Def.
Hi, I think I'm at mid-game, well, early/mid-game. I can get some 5* violent runes, so should i go for a violent/nemesis build or a swift one?
Violent. There´s no other option for her. Just like Belladeon, Chasun only makes sense on Violent runes. Also try to max skill her, you won´t regret.
Some end game players have Chasun forgotten, but with theguild wars this unit has a real use even in the most advanced levels.
Allright master, gonna try to get her some good vio runes, and max skill after woosa. Just got woosa some days before gettin chasun lols sometimes the luck is after me
Woosa rules. Max skill him before Chasun, I agree on that.
