Review, runes and strategy

Ganimede is a great nat 5 star monster in Summoners War.

Since his update in late 2016, his skillset has become one of the best in terms of crowd control and support ability in PvP.

His third skill sets all enemy's attack bar to 0, puts all target's skills on cooldown and this attack cannot be resisted. Moreover his second skill readies all target ally's skills (just like a single target Jamire's third skill)

In arena offense Ganimede is often used alongside Tiana and Galleon plus an AoE damage Dealer (like Zaiross or Psamathe). His leaderskill with 55% accuracy comes in hand in this context since provides good accuracy to all your allies even if you don't have much from substats.

He was my first nat 5 and I use him in every single pvp fight. Seal magic works wonders in high priority enemies that need to use a certain skill to be effective. And Ventlilate provides an awesome damage output if you have the right combos. And his Serenity is great for removing beneficial effects. My advice would be Swift/Focus if you have him on early game with SPD/CritRate%/Acc% Or Rage Will for later-pvp builds SPD/CritDamage/Atk% Don't forget to add tons of speed and acc sub-stats

My first Nat 5.
For PvP (like Vader says) use Rage Will build (SPD/CritDamage/Atk%) in substats get your CritRate up to at least 60%, Acc over 60%, and then as much SPD as you can!

Well dudes, I don´t want to say you´re wrong about your monsters, first of all because I´m not lucky enough to own a Ganymede, but I can speak "from the outside" as I constantly face this awesome monster in Arena , GW and RTA, and I really think you don´t understand his true potential.

Gamymede is in my opinion the best support monster in all the game and one of the TOP5 mosters in RTA. He´s definitely too OP and needs to be nerfed cause he´s too unbalanced. Ventilate and Seal Magic are just great skills, but if you add a debuff chance in the first skill the mix is real nitroglicerine. Ganymede along with a top healer can turn a good team in a "state of the art" one and can also ruin the day of any enemy. But, think on it... are you going to rune ATK/CrDam a pure support monster? Gany is not Lushen or Katarina, his task is not to destroy enemy units by raw force, but to destroy enemy strategy by ventilating allies and sealing the skills of the enemies, and to do this you need Ganymede to stand all the fight long.

So again: I do not have this monster, forgive me if I´m wrong, but the only Ganymedes I´ve lost to (and the only ones I fear) are the ones runed tanky. Any Ganymede runed for attack, as you suggest, won´t stand a single turn vs my Perna, Rakan or even my Theomars. Not to speak about how "Lushenable" is a low HP Ganymede.

So, my advice is to rune this beast as tanky and fast as possible, and of course, rune him Violent so you can get procs and "ventilate" as much as you can the ally cooldowns.

I'm I the only one who thinks Ganymede should get an upgrade? It sem's like he's been punished by Oberon OP skillset... I mean, he already can't use ventilate on himself and can't decrease cooldown of this skill with any other skill, so in compensation at least C2U should add an extra on Ventilate skill like "...and increase target ally and yourself spd for two turns." or "...and cleanse all negative states on target ally." I still think he's awesome but come on first it's a nat5 and second any other skill cooldown decreasers have better extra stuff on their skills, for example Jamire decrease colldown on AoE+Cleanse+Can decrease cooldown of this skill with any other cooldown reduction skill... Mav AoE Cleanse 1Debuff + Cooldown reduction by 1 + can decrease cooldown of this skill with any other cooldown reduction skill even Elenoa can decrease the cooldown on his skill with other skills that do this so it's kinda unfair Ganymede can't do this or add some extra efect at the time he use this.
